At Split Food Tour, we believe that food has a unique way of bringing people together, and there’s no better way to connect than by sharing a meal – or in our case, many meals.
Our mission is to provide an unforgettable experience for our guests while actively supporting our local food partners and the Split community we call home.
We are committed to delivering both quality and value, ensuring you leave with great memories, full bellies and zero regrets about choosing us.
Dino, born and raised in Split, spent many years working as a skipper before turning his passion for food into Split Food Tour. Equally drawn to the Adriatic Sea and the local food scene, he created the tour to showcase the authentic flavors of Dalmatian cuisine. In his free time, he loves to cook, swim (when it’s warm enough), and tries to attend every Hajduk match (Split’s local football team) he possibly can.
Emma, originally from Vancouver, Canada, is a passionate world traveler. In 2019, she fatefully booked a sailing cruise around the Croatian Islands, where she met her future husband, Dino. Together, they came up with the idea to start a guided food tour in their favorite city, Split. While she’s not exploring her new home, she’s busy learning Croatian, hoping to one day have a proper conversation with her mother-in-law.
Tea (pronounced ‘Tey-ah’), a local from Split, has been a tour guide since her college days. She has a true passion for her work and, over the years, has led tours across Middle Europe, Croatia and the Adriatic Islands. When she’s not showing visitors the sights, Tea is a Polish court translator and a loving mother to her two young daughters. Still finding the time to squeeze in yoga, reading and hiking in her free time!
Josipa (pronounced ‘Yo-sipa’) has been a tour guide for over 10 years, and it’s the perfect fit, combining her passions for history, culture and meeting new people. With a Master’s Degree in Art History, she speaks several languages and has a deep love for Split, its people, and its cuisine. When she’s not sharing her city with visitors, she enjoys cooking, practicing Ashtanga yoga, and seeking out new mountain peaks to conquer.
Marina has been a tour guide for 10 years, exploring all corners of Croatia and sharing her love for her country with visitors. Outside of guiding, she’s all about spending time with family and friends – whether it’s hosting dinner parties, barbecuing, or hiking with her dog. As a true local, she loves chatting over coffee for hours, and although she doesn’t claim to be a professional singer or dancer, she enjoys both whenever the mood strikes.
Ivana has been a licensed tour guide for 20 years, leading visitors through Split and the Dalmatian coast, as well as guiding sea cruises around the Croatian islands. A lifelong traveler, her love for exploring new places started young – her second word was “bye-bye”! Outside of guiding, Ivana and her husband are passionate about live music and often travel across Europe to attend concerts. When she’s not guiding tours or traveling, she’s busy keeping up with her two energetic young boys.
